Cherry and Maple Armoire

-
3/4" solid Cherry frame
-
1/4" Maple plywood panels
-
3/4" solid Maple drawer front
-
Birch plywood (drawer carcass and shelves)
Construction:
-
Mortise and tennon joints on door frames.
-
Biscuit joints on the rest of the frame.
-
Floating panels in dadoes.
Features:
-
270 degree hinges so the doors may be left open to ease loading and unloading.
-
Adjustable shelves with center divider.
-
Lightweight. Moving it is a problem of size, not weight. The armiore is one piece construction, one of my few regrets. I would suggest making it break apart into a drawer and shelving unit to make it easier to move.
